Carbon intelligence · MRV · registry readiness

Measure first. Verify next. Issue credits last.

Harborview connects physical recycling records to carbon-market intelligence, verification workflows and VIX proof. Estimated greenhouse-gas reductions remain separate from registry-issued carbon credits at every stage.

MRV architecture

Trace the material before making the claim.

Every carbon claim starts with operational evidence. Harborview's data model records the physical recycling process first, then attaches calculations, verification and registry evidence as those layers become real.

Source

Intake evidence

Generator, hauler, photos, weight tickets, tire type, date, site, source and batch ID.

Process

Operating evidence

Tons processed, electricity, fuel, transport, runtime, residues and recovered-material yields.

Market

End-use evidence

Rubber, steel and other outputs tied to buyer, quantity, specification and final use.

Claim

Carbon evidence

Calculation basis, project boundary, baseline, methodology, validation, verification and issuance records.

Carbon-market intelligence

Connect the project to the market around it.

Harborview's Carbon Center is prepared to ingest external project, credit, registry, pricing, retirement and integrity information. AlliedOffsets is the primary market-intelligence connector; registry workflows remain separate so market data never masquerades as Harborview issuance.

  • Comparable carbon projects and methodologies
  • Registry and project status intelligence
  • Vintage issuance and retirement activity
  • Indicative pricing and market movement
  • Integrity and project-document research
Connector status

Integration ready

Authenticated market data activates when provider credentials are configured in Harborview's private connector layer.

Separation rule: market prices and comparable-project data are intelligence. They do not establish Harborview credit eligibility or issuance.
Methodology workbench

Evaluate each recycling pathway separately.

Mechanical recovery

Tire recycling

Measure diversion, processing inputs, recovered rubber/steel and documented end use. Carbon-credit methodology eligibility remains a separate validation task.

Verra VMR0007 screening

Recovered steel

VMR0007 is active and lists steel as a covered recycled material. Harborview will screen recovered steel against its applicability and VCS requirements; tire rubber itself is not on the listed covered-material set.

Infrastructure

Rubberized asphalt

Capture rubber input, displaced material assumptions, construction data and long-term end use before modeling any climate benefit.

Advanced recovery

rCB / pyrolysis

Keep mass balance, energy, fuel, recovered products and product quality separate for lifecycle and methodology review.

VIX proof layer

Anchor the evidence trail, not just the final number.

MRV and registry records are prepared for VIX anchoring by batch and inventory record. The public VIX ledger can show selected milestones while internal evidence remains controlled.

  • Batch ID and event timestamp
  • Input and recovered-material quantities
  • Calculation / verification status
  • Registry project and issuance reference
  • VIX transaction and event proof
Current balances

Nothing is counted before the evidence exists.

The live public feed deliberately starts at zero. As measured batches, verified reductions and registry issuance are recorded, the balances update independently.

Materials

0.00 t rubber · 0.00 t steel

Recovered-material totals from measured MRV batches.

Credit inventory

0.00 available · 0.00 retired

Only registry-documented credit inventory enters these balances.
